MUMBAI, JAN 15: A package of six Australian films which were shown during the recently concluded International Film Festival of India in New Delhi will be shown at the Y B Chavan Centre for five days. The Australian Film Festival to be held in collaboration with Prabhat Chitra Mandal will be inaugurated on January 27 by actor-film maker Amol Palekar.The six films to be shown during the fete are Journey, which showcases contemporary work from Australia's prominent and up-coming film makers, Amy, an urban musical depicting movement of a single mother and her daughter after a tragic event, Head On, Radiance, Doing Time for Patsy Cline, In the Savage Land, and The Interview, an on-the-edge-of-your seat psychological thriller. Short films along side feature film screenings include Tulip, Slim Pickings, Harry's War and The Calling.The Festival will travel to Pune where the same films will be shown between February 6 and 11 to be followed by Calcutta to be held between February 15 and 19.
