KUALA LUMPUR, SEPT 17: A brilliant all-round display by Australia made their semi-final match against their Trans-Tasman rivals a mis-match. Australia’s nine-wicket win was fashioned mainly by left-arm spinner Brad Young, who completed a hat-trick today, to send the Kiwis crashing down for 58 runs.

Young took four wickets for four runs in four overs and pacer Damien Fleming had three for 23. Young’s hat-trick victims were Matt Bell (11), Daniel Vettori and Paul Wiseman.

All-rounder Tom Moody shone too, bowling six maidens in seven overs and a wicket and combined it with great fielding for two catches.
