BANGALORE, JUNE 26: A team of AICC fact-finding committee drafted to go into the recent attacks on Christians and churches in different parts of the country, would submit its findings to party president Sonia Gandhi by the end of this month, its member K M Khan said on Monday.

Khan, a Rajya Sabha member from Andhra Pradesh told newsmen here, the committee would visit Wadi in Karnataka’s Gulbarga district, where twin blasts occurred in front of a Church recently.

Khan who condemned Sunday’s bomb blast at a place of worship at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh, said the team would also visit the place on June 28.

He asked the Centre to publish a white paper on ISI activities in the country and the action initiated by the government to curb it.

Khan alleged that the Centre was making "sweeping allegations" against ISI with a view to directing attention of people on the issue of attacks on minorities and demanded a high level enquiry into the attacks.

Meanwhile, Karnataka Unit Congress Minority wing led by its chairman, M Obaidulla Sharief, submitted a memorandum to President K R Narayanan asking for a direction to the Centre to check atrocities on minorities and bring the culprits to book.
