AURANGABAD, DEC 6: Results of the recent Assembly elections in four states have spelt the demise of the Third Force, leaving the political field open to two major players — the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress, Union Home Minister L K Advani said here on Saturday.

The Union Home Minister said though regional parties will continue to play their roles, the polarisation of forces around two major parties at the national level augurs well for the nation’s political health.

Advani, who attended a series of functions in his visit to the City, said his Government was keen to bring in a bill on the right to information as a move to strengthen the Fourth Estate.
