Water always flows from a higher level to a lower level. In a housing society, it rises through the pipes and fills the overhead tank. This can happen because a pump has been used to raise it. There is a saying that water finds its level. Once water has been pumped up and stored in a tank 50 metres high, it can also rise up and supply water in a flat which is less than 50 metres high.
How can a blind person write? Nayankumar, Dahanu Road
Blind people write using typewriters. You may be surprised to learn that the typewriter was invented to help blind people write. Blind people also read books that have been written (rather embossed) with the help of raised dots on thick paper. They are trained to read with the help of these raised dots. This kind of writing is called Braille, after the man who invented it.
