Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland has recorded a modest 5.4 per cent rise in its October sales to 2,329 units from 2,208 units in the same month last year. Of this, domestic sales increased by 6.1 per cent but exports fell by 5.8 per cent to 258 vehicles. Domestic sale of medium duty vehicles stood higher by 5.4 per cent at 2,052 vehicles.
