NEW DELHI, July 29: Asha Bist of SRC created a new meet record of 9.60m in the girls under 18 shot put final of the Delhi State Junior Athletic meet held at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium today. The previous record was 7.68m. Second-placed Chhaya Yadav missed the mark, throwing 7.63m, while Modern School's Adita Mathur was third with 7.56m.Other easy winners on the day were Dharminder in the boys under 20 5000m run (final) and Suraj Rana in the under-18 final of the same event. Both finished ahead of their opponents by around a minute.
