A local court in Pakistan has issued non-bailable arrest warrants against former prime minister Benazir Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari in an assets declaration case for the fourth time. The case against the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders is being tried by the district and sessions court on a petition filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) which had claimed that Bhutto and Zardari had made false assets declaration before the Election Commission in 1993. The court also ordered authorities to serve Interpol notices on the accused.
