MUMBAI, FEB 17: Amit Aroskar was the toast of Rizvi College at the MiG Cricket Club ground, Bandra today. The 17-year-old slammed a fine 104 as Rizvi upstaged RA Podar8217;s first innings score of 273 comfortably in the Mumbai University Inter-Collegiate semi-final encounter.
Aroskar, who struck 15 boundaries, was ably supported by Vijay Singh, who notched 50 runs 10215;4. Manish Bangera 41 and Kunal More 29 also came up with useful contributions as Rizvi overhauled Podar8217;s total in 78.4 overs losing four wickets.
Rizvi will now take on Jhunjhunwala in the summit clash at the Wankhede Stadium from February 23-26.
