CHANDIGARH, June 23: A nine member delegation of Army officers and other ranks of Skinner’s Horse hailing from Haryana, called on the Haryana Chief Minister Bansi Lal today. Col P.S. Gill (retd), who led the delegation, extended an invitation to the chief minister for attending the next Raising Day of the regiment. The Skinner’s Horse, one of the most famed armoured regiments, was raised at Hansi in Haryana.

Bansi Lal,who was briefed about various welfare programmes for army widows and their dependents being implemented by the regiment, assured all possible help to supplement these efforts.
