NEW DELHI, May 17: A city court today dismissed as withdrawn the anticipatory bail plea of Vikas Yadav who is on the run since the murder of ramp model Jessica Lal in an illegal bar in south Delhi on April 30.Additional sessions judge PK Bhasin allowed JK Bharati, counsel for Yadav, son of Rajya Sabha member DP Yadav, to withdraw the petition when he said he would approach the court after the Delhi high court decides on a public interest litigation seeking a CBI inquiry into the murder case.Bharati submitted that he also wanted to make some amendments in the petition after the high court decides whether the matter should be probed by the CBI.The Bharastachar Virodhi Manch has filed the PIL in the HC and the matter is listed before a division bench comprising acting Chief Justice Devinder Gupta and Justice KS Gupta today.Police has been trying to trace Vikas, an alleged accomplice of Manu Sharma, for allegedly helping the prime accused, causing destruction of evidence and harbouring him.
