Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (R-ADAG), on Saturday introduced its new corporate identity, set to be ceremonially unveiled this Sunday in Mumbai. In an address to employees all over the country, R-ADAG chairman Anil Ambani also introduced a new corporate logo — in red, blue and white – an obvious contrast to the logo sported by Reliance companies owned by older brother Mukesh.

This is R-ADAG’s first such effort after the highly public separation of business interests between the two brothers.

In a speech to group employees early on Saturday evening, the younger Ambani said the new corporate identity reflected hopes and commitment towards ‘‘a better future’’ and a ‘‘higher quality of life.’’ Paraphrasing his father, Anil told the 30,000-plus employees of his group: ‘‘Think Bigger! Think Better! — That is our commitment, our driving force.’’ Dhirubhai Ambani, Anil’s father, had built the Ambani business empire had said his mantra for growth was: ‘‘Think Big. Think Fast. Think Ahead’’

Anil also said today that the change in identity will mark a ‘‘fundamental’’ change in ‘‘the way we work, the way we respond to stakeholders, the way we look at competition.’’ R-ADAG has a market cap of nearly Rs 1,00,000 crore, assets in excess of Rs 31, 500 crore and a net worth of Rs 27, 000 crore.
