Wijk Ann Zee, January 25: Though victory has been eluding Viswanathan Anand more than often in the nine rounds played so far, the Indian champ has displayed remarkable talent in not losing any of the boards to keep alive his chances of another exceptional feat here at Corus Grandmaster Group A chess tournament. After the final rest day today, four more rounds remain in the first important event on the chess calendar and Anand will have to display fiercely competitive chess to improve upon the five points he has gathered so far to catch up with joint leaders Alexei Shirov and Gary Kasparov who have 6.5 points each.
