The trial run of Amritsar-Lahore bus service will be held on Sunday, paving the way for a third bus service between India and Pakistan.A bus from Amritsar would arrive at Lahore tomorrow through the Wagah border, covering a distance of about 45 km. Pakistan will hold the trial run of its bus on December 13. The trial was earlier scheduled for October but was postponed due to the massive earthquake.Pakistan and India launched their first bus link between New Delhi and Lahore in 1999. The service resumed in July, 2003, after being suspended following an attack on Parliament.The second bus link opened between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad in April this year. — PTI
