NAGPUR, January 14: Republican Party of India office-bearers have appealed to party leader Prakash Ambedkar to refrain from taking any such step that would divide the Dalit votes and eventually help Sena-BJP candidates in the coming Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing a press conference, RPI Secretary W K Ganar said Prakash Ambedkar should agree to abide by the recent verdict of the Election Commission empowering the ten-member RPI presidium to nominate a person to take the party’s poll related decisions.
