PUNE, OCT 10: Alsadena, winner of the 1200m Karnataka Race Horse Owners’ Association trophy’ broke a 27-year-old course record, clocking one minute, 12.44s on the 18th day of Mysore Races held this morning. The old record of one minute 12.6s was set by Amarkirti in 1972. Favourite Crystal Man (P Shroff up) won the Kingfisher Mysore Derby 1999 (Grade 1), the main event of the races. The winner was owned by Dr & Mrs Vijya Mallya and trained by DR Byramji.
