CHENNAI, July 28: In addition to the existing 4,800 primary agriculture cooperative banks (PACBs), the TN government plans to set up PACBs in all panchayats so the number increases to 12,000, according to the food and cooperation minister, K N Nehru. He also said the state government will make efforts to minimise political interference in the functioning of these PACBs.
