The outbreak of war in Iraq has sparked flight cancellations by airlines around the world. Following is a summary of some service changes announced:

Air Canada: The carrier said it would cut capacity for the rest of March by 8 per cent and for April and May by 15 per cent from year-before levels as part of changes to include job cuts.

Air France: The carrier said it had cancelled all flights between Paris and Tel Aviv until Monday.

American Airlines: The world’s largest carrier and unit of AMR Corp said it would cut international flights by 6 per cent in April, adding to a previously announced cut of 7 per cent on US domestic routes.

British Airways: Europe’s largest airline has suspended flights to and from Kuwait and Tel Aviv until further notice.

Cathay Pacific: The HK-based carrier said its twice-weekly Riyadh flight was stopping over in Dubai instead of Bahrain.
