Bhopal, March 22: Eunuchs in Madhya Pradesh, after proving politics to be a cakewalk have now moved on to the catwalk.Missing none of the pomp and glamour associated with such events, they organised a fashion show at Mangalwara locality on Sunday, the eve of Holi.As many as 50 eunuchs, attired in various costumes, rivalling any of the professional models or even Bollywood heroines, walked down the ramp with all the boisterous gestures and style associated with the clan.A large number of spectators gathered at the show organised by a local association thoroghly enjoyed every moment.Madhya Pradesh has become the first state where a eunuch has been elected to the state assembly and four others to the civic bodies. The community that had been sidelined in the social spectrum for centuries, has, of late, started becoming more active in political as well as the social fields.
