NEW DELHI, Sept 1: Less than 24 hours after a 13-year-old girl was feared to have been kidnapped near her Kalkaji Extension house last evening, the police traced her to Ludhiana where she had allegedly eloped along with a taxi driver living in the locality. The girl was brought back to Delhi late in the night.According to the FIR, Eshaini Puri, daughter of Ashok Puri, a cement dealer, was last seen at 7.30 p.m. yesterday. Eshaini, along with her younger sister Sakshi, had gone to see a neighbourhood doctor as she was not feeling well. On the way, they met a common friend, Shilpa. Eshaini asked them to wait there while she went to the doctor. She, however, did not return.The family waited past midnight before registering a case of kidnapping with the Kalkaji police. After talking to Eshaini, the police disclosed that her nine-year-old sister Sakshi knew that she was seeing Harmandeep. The police have now confirmed that there is no girl called Shilpa. Taxi driver Harmandeep's family has confirmed that Eshaini had visited their house last night.
