MUMBAI, July 15: New Delhi-based software and computer training company, NIIT Ltd, has reported a 92 per cent jump in net profit for the third quarter ended June 1998 to Rs 45.3 crore from Rs 23.6 crore during the same period last year. The company's revenues during the period went up by 54 per cent to Rs 130.7 crore from Rs 84.9 crore during the corresponding period last year.Global revenues of NIIT and its subsidiaries for the nine month period ended June 30, 1998, have gone up by 67 per cent to Rs 469 crore from Rs 280.6 million.During the nine month period, NIIT's software business grew by 68 per cent to record revenues of Rs 212.9 crore, training business grew by 59 per cent to touch Rs 176.6 crore and multimedia business went up by 88 per cent to Rs 79.5 crore.
