SURAT, July 7: Six more reservation counters open at the Surat Railway station soon.This follows a decision at a meeting on Monday. Union Textile Minister Kashiram Rana, Western Zone General Manager Vasudev Gupta, Mayor Navneet Jariwala, Municipal Commissioner S Jagadeesan, Engineer B M Shah, Technical Advisor P C Shah were present.Responding to Rana's demand to equip the station with modern facilities, Railway Minister Nitish Kumar asked the GM to visit Surat and discuss the facilities with the authorities.
