Four militants suspected to be members of Pakistan-based Lashker-e-Toiba and two army personnel, including a captain, were killed in a fierce gunbattle in Kupwara district on Tuesday. The gunbattle broke out at Chhotimargi-Lolab, when militants hiding there opened fire at a joint search party of 18-Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of local police, SSP (Kupwara) Vijay Kumar told reporters.Four militants of LeT, a captain and a soldier were killed and another personnel was injured in the gunbattle which lasted for several hours, he said. A huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants.
