Four people sustained severe injuries when two cars and a motorcycle collided on Ashoka Road on Thursday. Police said a Matiz, a Santro and a TVS Pulsar bike collided head on Thursday evening at 3.35 pm. Police said a bystander called the police, who reached the spot to find the biker bleeding profusely and the car occupants, two in a Matiz and one in a Santro, unconscious. The injured were taken to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, where their condition is said to be stable. The occupants of the Matiz car have been identified as Rupak Chowdhary and Srikant Bannerjee. One Devraj was driving the grey Santro. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
