NEW DELHI, MAY 19: Glaxo was the major beneficiary of the National Pharamaceutical Pricing Authority’s (NPPA) decision to revise prices of 38 drug formulations on Friday.

Of the 38 formulation packs, ceiling prices have been fixed for 22 packs. Prices of three Wysolone tablets have been fixed for the first time. The release said that the prices have been revised in accordance with the Drug Price Control Order (DPCO) 1995 and as per the established criteria and guidelines.

The revised prices would become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the official gazette or the receipt of the order of the NPPA regarding this.
