Tourism officials today heaved a sigh of relief as the three foreign tourists who were reported to have gone missing from the ski resort of Gulmarg on Friday were traced to Srinagar. Police said the three were staying in a houseboat in the city. On Friday, police said three tourists 8212;- Melony Peter Joseph from the United States, Chris Fletcher of Australia and Emma Bracken of New Zealand 8212; were missing from Gulmarg. Soon after the missing report, the J-K Police launched a massive manhunt to trace the tourists. A message was sent to all the police stations of the Valley. On Saturday a special team of the Tourism Police, led by SHO of Tourist Police, Tourist Reception Centre TRC, Srinagar, Bilal Ahmad, traced the three to a houseboat on the Dal lake.
