Vadodara, April 30: Cash worth about Rs 6 lakh were stolen in two cases of bag snatching in the rural parts of city on Thursday.According to Rural police, Bhavna Deepakbhai, a resident of Nava Vadej, Ahmedabad complained to Dabhoi police on Wednesday that some miscreant had stolen her bag carrying about Rs 3 lakh at Dabhoi bus stand. Police said that the bus passengers were interrogated by the police immediately after the incident, there was no headway in the case.The bag might have been stolen when she alighted from the bus, the police said.In another case, Hitendra Chauhan, a resident of Haalol, reported to Sayajigunj police that his bag carrying about Rs 3 lakh had been stolen at Jharod. Police said that the bag was lifted by some unknown person at a hotel near Jharod where Chauhan had parked his motorcycle to have some snacks leaving his bag on his vehicle.
