NEW DELHI, August 13: Veteran filmstar and BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha said at least 10 top film producers are facing threat from underworld dons.

Participating in Gulshan Kumar’s last rites, Sinha said that “he has concrete reports that 10 film producers are under threat.”

Refusing to name them, Sinha said, “The government is well aware of those threats and should take immediate action to protect them.”

On the nexus between film producers and the underworld, he said, “a few might have underworld connection. They might be getting their films financed by them. But it is wrong to say that all film-makers have nexus with the underworld.”

Two men belonging to the Rohit Godara-Goldy Brar Gang were killed in an encounter in Ghaziabad, suspected to be involved in the firing outside Disha Patani's residence. The duo, identified as Ravindra and Arun, were wanted in multiple cases and were spotted by the police through CCTV footage.
