CHENNAI, May 3: Ten persons have been taken into policy custody on charges of floating rumours regarding the spread of HIV infection using syringes. The arrests were made in Maduravoyal. Three more were arrested from Korattur and seven from Poonamallee. It may be recalled that panic had been spreading in villages outlying Chennai because of rumours that miscreants were out to spread the dreaded infection.
