The latest James Bond movie, ‘Quantum of Solace’, has topped the weekend box office after raking in 70.4 million dollars.

According to studio estimates, DreamWorks’ ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’ slipped to second position after raking in 36.1 million dollars, reports E! Online.

‘Role Models’, which earned 11.7 million dollars, came third while ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’ stood fourth after pocketing 5.9 million dollars.

Rounding off the top five was ‘Changeling’, which raked in 4.2 million

Dollars.

The top-grossing weekend films are:

3. ‘Role Models’, $11.7 million

4. ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’, $5.9 million
