We all love to travel but while on the go, skincare is one of the things that go for a toss. Also, when packing, we tend to take as many clothes as possible without giving much thought to the skincare products that need to be taken along. While you may have an elaborate skincare regime or may have many products, there are three skincare essentials that you should not forget to carry whenever you are travelling. As such, Dr Kiran Sethi, a dermatologist, revealed the three essential skincare products in her latest Instagram post.

Sunblock

The role of sunscreen can not be emphasised enough for good skin. It protects us from sun rays which have ultraviolet rays. These rays can trigger excess production of melanin which leads to pigmentation among other skin-related issues.

So, it is only logical to include it in the must-have skincare products while going out. “Whether you are skiing, or at the beach or simply indoors, sunscreen is a must,” Dr Kiran said in her Instagram post.

Sunblock goes a long way in taking care of your skin and the way it looks. “Ask anyone which product they can’t do without, and they will tell you the secret – a good sunscreen,” she added.

Hydrating mask

Dr Kiran said that it is good to include a hydrating mask while travelling. Air travel, weather change, sun and outdoor weather all cause dryness, and it is only good to carry a hydrating mask as an essential. “I love a good hydrating mask. You are very likely to face dryness when you are travelling, especially by air. So, a good hydrating mask is a must,” said Dr Kiran.

Moisturiser

A good face moisturiser helps maintain your skin’s health. It keeps your skin hydrated, which prevents breakouts and skin issues caused by excessive dryness. “Remember to moisturise your skin before you board your flight. The air inside planes is drying and can damage your skin,” said Dr Kiran.
