Vega defeated 87 contestants, including Miss India Noyonita Lodh, who could not even make it to top 10 at the 63rd edition of the pageant held at the FIU Arena at Florida International University here. Miss Universe 2013 Gabriela Isler from Venezuela crowned her successor at the end of the pageant that happened at Miami, Florida. Some of the highpoint of this year’s Miss Universe was the new crown, created by Diamonds International Corporation (D.I.C) given to the winner along with an audience question that was asked in addition to the judges round.
