‘It’s my homage to Britney Spears’: Jahnvi Kapoor takes Paris Fashion Week by storm, pays tribute to pop icon

“It’s my homage to Britney Spears,” Janhvi told British Vogue, who claims to be a “big Britney fan!”. “I’ve never met anyone who isn’t… and if I did, I would treat them with suspicion,” she added.

At the show, Janhvi Kapoor joined friends of the House, including Kylie Jenner, Emma Corrin, Emma Watson, and Laura Harrier, who enjoyed the showcase from the front row. Giving us a peek into her latest obsession with the brand, she further told the publication:  “It’s so young and fresh. It always has this classic energy, but it’s still so youthful.”

The trip to Paris is not just about work for her, though. Finding downtime in between shoots and events, she has been enjoying the culinary delicacies the city has to offer. “I’m so close with my team – we’re all going to Loulou for lunch after this. I’ve been stuffing my face with spaghetti, caviar and Bellinis. I should try and fit in a workout at some point before the show. But realistically, I’m not going to do that,” she told the publication.

While attending another event at the Paris Fashion Week, Janhvi slipped into an archival John Galliano ‘Scissor-Pleat’ dress from the designer’s 1986 debut collection ‘Fallen Angels’.

“Oh Hi Paris! – Jour 1- La vie parisienne: essayages, rendez-vous, et le reste… fabuleux,” she captioned her Instagram photo dump, featuring snapshots of her posing in a charcoal pinstriped ensemble with Galliano’s iconic scissor pleat silhouette and asymmetric hemline. Pointed heels, a black clutch and her sleek bun added a touch of old Hollywood glam to her Parisian look.
