The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on Wednesday issued a notice announcing the cancellation of the recently-conducted recruitment exam, after paper leak allegations. The notice was issued at the official TSPSC website — websitenew.tspsc.gov.in.
According to the official notification, the commission decided to cancel the exam after looking into the paper leak allegations. “Commission after careful examination of the FIR No. 95/2023, Dt: 14/03/2023 registered by Central Crime Station, Hyderabad District, with regard to leakage of question papers, has decided to CANCEL the examination held on 5/3/2023. The cancellation comes after TSPSC on March 11 postponed the written examination, which was scheduled to be held on March 12, for the post of Town Planning Building Overseer on account of suspected hacking. Following that, the Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan’s office on Tuesday had also sought a detailed report from the Commission within 48 hours.
Following the investigation, the recruitment exam has now been cancelled. TSPSC was conducting the recruitment exam to fill 837 vacancies which includes posts of Assistant Engineers, Municipal Assistant Engineers, Technical Officers and Junior Technical Officers in various engineering departments.
