
Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has on Monday released the revised final syllabus for Group I and Group II exams on their official website — psc.ap.gov.in. The candidates appearing for the Group I exam can check there is the separate syllabus for prelims and mains.
In Group 1 exam, the preliminary exam consists of two papers of 120 marks each. The papers include General Studies and General Aptitude. As for Group II mains, there are two language papers — English and Telugu — carrying 150 marks each, wherein the candidate has to secure minimum marks to qualify. There are five more papers.
For Group II, no separate syllabus has been released and the screening test will be conducted for 150 marks if the total number of applications crossed 25,000.
The qualified candidates will be called for Group II mains that will include three papers, each carrying 150 marks. The papers include General Studies and Mental Ability for Paper 1, Social History of AP and General Overview of the Constitution for Paper 2, and Planning in India and Indian Economy and Rural Benefits and Developments for Paper 3.
