Rao, who held a review on the issue with officials, felt the outsourced employees (of TS Transco, TS Genco and discoms) who have been working for several years on nominal salaries should be regularised on humanitarian grounds. He asked the officials to prepare guidelines for the purpose.

The Chief Minister recalled that the salaries of employees working in electricity department were increased substantially in the past and those of outsourced staffers were also hiked, he said.
