Shah Rukh Khan congratulates PM Modi on G20 success, lauds his leadership

As the G20 Summit 2023 concluded Sunday, superstar Shah Rukh Khan congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the success of India’s presidency and “fostering unity between nations”.

The ‘Jawan’ actor added that under Modi’s leadership the country “will prosper not in isolation but in oneness.”

Taking to X, Shah Rukh, tagging a post by Modi, tweeted, “Congratulations to Hon. PM @narendramodi ji for the success of India’s G20 Presidency and for fostering unity between nations for a better future for the people of the world. It has brought in a sense of honour and pride into the hearts of every Indian. Sir, under your leadership, we will prosper not in isolation but in Oneness. One Earth, One Family, One Future…”

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Modi handed over the G20 Presidency gavel to Lula da Silva, the President of Brazil, a country which will assume the presidency of the grouping from December 1 this year.

As the summit was declared closed, Modi cited a Sanskrit shloka to pray for hope and peace in the entire world.
