Army troops and police on Wednesday busted two hideouts and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Rajouri and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir,police said here.
Acting on a tip off,troops launched a search operation and arrested a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant.
Police took Abdul Rasheed for a search operation and busted a hideout in Jabli belt of Banihal tehsil of Ramban district,they said.
They recovered one AK rifle,three magazines,90 rounds,they said,adding,the militant was arrested in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
Earlier,acting on a tip off,troops launched a search operation in Reach Bagla forest area of Rajouri district and busted a hideout late Tuesday night,police said.
They recovered a Pika gun,191 rounds of Pika rifle,four belted ammunition of Pika rifle and three detonators,besides some ration material,they said.
However,no one was arrested in this connection.
