SMS threatening blasts in Jaipur sent to Raj minister

An SMS threating serial blasts in the Rajasthan capital was received on Thursday by a state minister on her mobile phone,police said.

Police are trying to ascertain the identity of the person who has sent the message to Rajasthan Minister of State for Khadi Golma Devi that claimed that ten blasts will be carried out in Jaipur with Sanganer being the main target.

“It could be another prank but we are trying to locate the sender,” Inspector General of Police B L Soni said.

A school boy was recently arrested for making a call to a police control room threatening to kill Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. However,he was later released.
