PDP holds protest against price rise,corruption in J-K

Demanding roll-back of prices of diesel and LPG,Peoples Democratic Party held a demonstration in J-K.

Demanding roll-back of prices of diesel and LPG,Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today held a demonstration here.

They also raised slogans against alleged corruption in the state government.

We have asked the state government to withdraw taxes on some essential items to give relief to the common man facing hardships due to sky-rocketing prices of essential commodities,PDP General Secretary Thakur Balbir Singh told reporters.

PDP also flayed the National Conference-led government for its failure to check corruption,he said.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
