The case on the controversial selection of medical officers by the Punjab Public Service Commission will be heard on a day-to-day basis from May 16,the Punjab and Haryana High Court ruled today.
Four members of the commission Anil Sarin,D S Mahal,Ravinder Kaur and Brig (retd) D S Grewal have been impleaded as parties to the case.
The court has also ordered that notices shall be published in three newspapers including in a daily vernacular informing all selected candidates about the case. A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Augustine George Masih took the scathing report of the Punjab Vigilance Bureau on record which had indicted all members of PPSC headed by its Chairman S K Sinha for their individual and participative collusion in subverting the objectivity in the selection of candidates.
