Khurram appeals Muslims to take pledge on Eid to end terrorism

'Islam has nothing to do with terrorism and terrorists were the biggest enemies of this religion.'

The All-India Muslim Tehwar Committee has appealed to all Muslims in the country to celebrate Id-ul-Zuha on Wednesday by taking a pledge to eliminate terrorism from the country.

“Directives have been issued to all Imams,Ulemas,Qazis,Muftis and Chiefs of Dargahs and Imambadas all over the country to pray to Allah to help end terrorism,” Committee Chairman,Dr Ausaf Shahmeeri Khurram said in a statement.

Khurram in his message on the occasion said that just as water and fire cannot meet each other,there can be no link between Islam and terrorism.

“Islam has nothing to do with terrorism and terrorists were the biggest enemies of this religion,” he said.
