Cleric was allegedly shot dead by unidentified assailants at Bagowali village.

An Imam of a mosque was allegedly shot dead by unidentified assailants at Bagowali village,police said here on Friday.

Haji Islam (70) was shot dead by two motorbike-borne men on Thursday,they said.

A case has been registered and the body was sent for post mortem,they said.
