APHCC launches mass contact programmes over temple bill in J-K

Raising the pitch over its demand for passage of Shrines and Temples Bill,the All Party Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC) today said mass awareness programmes have been started in support of the proposed legislation.

APHCC members,while expressing satisfaction over the 10-day long indefinite strike,resolved to take the agitation to its logical end and continue to fight till the bill is passed in the Assembly.

Other demands include probe into encroachment of temple and shrine land and special employment package for resident Hindus in Kashmir Valley.
