BJP working president J P Nadda on Tuesday said India, because of its enhanced defence capabilities, can now teach Pakistan a lesson right from home, adding that “no Abhinandan” needs to go to the neighbouring country to fight.
Speaking on the occasion of the death anniversary of BJP patriarch Kailashpati Mishra, Nadda said, “We have 26 Rafale jets and 28 Apache helicopters. We are now providing bulletproof jackets to other countries. Now, there is no need for an Abhinandan to go to Pakistan to fight. Ab hum Bharat se hi Pakistan ke chhakke chhuda denge (We can now teach Pakistan a lesson right from India).”
Nadda, who was on his first visit to Bihar after becoming national working president, said, “BJP is not only a big party but also the party that can take tough decisions… The Opposition should not be under any illusion for BJP has become an ‘incoming party’ because of its expansion and vast outreach.”

Recalling Mishra’s contributions, Nadda said he had “worked towards linking every section of society with BJP and always stood for reservation”.
Reiterating the party’s tie-up with the JD(U), Nadda said the NDA would return to power in Bihar with a majority in the Assembly elections. Nadda paid a courtesy visit to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and assured him of full support from the Centre for all-round development of the state.
