Rajnath Singh, Ramdev attend wedding of Nitin Gadkari daughter

The wedding of BJP leader Nitin Gadkari’s daughter Ketki was a relatively low-key affair, unlike the weddings of his two sons. Only a handful of Central ministers and state leaders attended it.

Among those who blessed the newly-wed couple were some prominent Opposition leaders from Maharashtra. They included former Union Minister and NCP leader Praful Patel along with other Congress leaders like Leader of the Opposition in Legislative Assembly Raddhakrisha Vikhe Patil, Narayan Rane, former Nagpur MP and Union Minister Vilas Muttemwar, former Rajya Sabha member Vijay Darda, former state ministers Satish Chaturvedi and Anees Ahmed.

Ketki tied the knot with Aditya Kaskhedikar, a Facebook professional from San Francisco, hailing from Nagpur.

Among the Union ministers who were present were Rajnath Singh, Prakash Javadekar, Maneka Gandhi and Gadkari’s ministers of state Mansukh Mandaviyan and Pon Radhakrishnan.

Among other prominent invitees were RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, yoga guru Ramdev, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray, MNS chief Raj Thackeray and Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his MP counterpart Shivraj Singh Chauhan were the only two CMs to attend the wedding.
