Nitish silent over BJP’s stand on Modi

Bihar CM had opposed to the publication of an advt featuring his photo with Gujarat CM last month.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Friday preferred to keep mum on statements by BJP leaders that the party would ask Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi to campaign for the Assembly elections in Bihar scheduled to be held later this year.

Kumar had opposed to the publication of an advertisement featuring his photo with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi last month.

“You continue to ask questions. I will continue to hear,” Kumar said when reporters sought his reaction on BJP’s move to send Modi for electioneering in the state.

“Our team, comprising leaders of both the parties, have done exceedingly well. This is evident from the development which is being acknowledged in Bihar,” he said.
