Government on Wednesday offered to rehabilitate naxalites if they give up arms and surrender.

“If naxals give up arms and surrender,they would also be rehabilitated,” Home Minister P Chidambaram told a press conference here.

His comments on the issue came at a press conference here when he was explaining the policy being drafted by the Jammu and Kashmir government for the rehabilitation of militants returning from Pak-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
