Defence Minister A K Antony said on Friday that the Government had no role in the CBI's decision to close the probe against his party colleague Jagdish Tytler in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, but said the Sikh community had a right to express their sentiments. "It is not the Union Government's decision. The report was given by the CBI," he said in response to questions on the issue at a meet-the-press programme in Thiruvananthapuram. "On the other side, the Sikh community is naturally wounded. The 1984 incident was a tragedy. Their wounds are still there. So,they have a right to express their apprehension," he said, when asked about the community being anguished over CBI's decision to give a clean chit to Tytler.
