Cong indulging in witch-hunting by dragging me to court: Jagan

When my dad was alive, why was not all these topics coming up: Jagan

Kadapa MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday alleged that the Congress high command was indulging in “witch-hunting” against him by dragging into court cases.

“Congress’ own minister writes an undated letter to the court. And then,TDP,along with Congress, impleads into the petition. Then, they start attacking me using the court as a venue. On the one side, you attack me with various departments after I moved out of the party. Income Tax,Enforcement…you name it,” he told the electronic media.

“I want to ask one simple question, when my dad was alive, why was not all these topics coming up. Why is it,as long as I was in Congress, why these things did not surface,” Jagan, son of late Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, said.

“You are attacking a dead man and that too two years after his death. That too, once his son left the Congress party. This vindictive,witch-hunting situation is visible

here,” he said.

He asserted that YSR’s padayatra brought back Congress to power in 2004 in addition to securing majority in Lok Sabha.

Affirming that his late father did not deviate from the established practices,he said all the decisions taken during his tenure were collective.
